Join us for the Coin Collecting Merit Badge Clinic on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Four Points Sheraton-Airport, 5311 South Howell Ave.
Pre-Requisites:
1. Read Coin Collecting merit badge book.
2. Scouts will be reviewed on requirements:
1, 2a-f, 3,4,5a-b, 6 7 8 9d &10b.
3. Collect from circulation and bring (req. 6)
4. Be prepared to describe the 1999-2008 State Quarters program.
5. Collect from circulation and bring (req. 7) a type set of U.S. coin currently in circulation. Pre-packaged proof and mint sets are NOT acceptable.
6. Collect and bring (requirement 9d)
Please read the article prior to the clinic.
Only bring the coins required. Of the coins you bring, at least one collection must be presented in approved storage/display devices (req. 4)
See pages 57-59. At the clinic, Scouts will complete the other requirements to be reviewed.
