The Jamboree’s River Rafting experience offers rafting on three sections of the scenic New River – which is the oldest river in North America! The sections of the New River will be Class I – III+ rapids. Each raft has a professional river guide provided by local outfitters.

Participation requires preregistration with the National Jamboree and approval by the local council. Also required is a permission waiver authorized/signed by a parent/guardian, completed, and brought with you to the Jamboree. Walk in participation is not an option.

River Rafting does NOT close due to weather, including thunderstorms.  The cost is $125 per person.
