Supplies Scouts need to gather:

Workbook, MB Pamphlet and Pre-MB Tech Syllabus 

Pre-requisites:

1. Scouts should get a copy of the latest printing of the Merit Badge Book and read it before the class.

2. Consider utilizing the Geology WORKSHEET to document you activities and information learned prior to clinic. 

3. Requirements:

1 - Just the definition of geology is the pre-req

2 – Come prepared with three resources.  Even if it’s not completed fully its ok!  You’ll be able to add along as we discuss!

5a5: Find a stream near your house and determine which way the flows, even if the water is missing.  Record your observations and sketch those clues you observe! (Take photos of the stream you choose for reference!) 

Class Schedule:

8:30 am – 11:45 am (Class Instruction)

1:00 pm – 4:00 pm (Review Work with Scouts for Completion of MB)

Follow-up Homework:

If scouts don't finish work or complete the pre-reqs prior to the clinic, we will work with them to complete the badge.  
But we will teach/instruct in the morning and then review items with scouts in the afternoon
