Chaplains Aide is an approved youth leadership position in Scouts BSA Troops and Venturing Crews. The purpose of the Chaplains Aide is to:
- Make the 12th point of the Scout Law more meaningful in life.
- Promote a greater understanding of, respect, and appreciation for all religions.
- Provide information regarding the various religious emblem awards.
- Help the troop or crew conduct an appropriate religious service for all unit members.
We are inviting youth who would like to serve as a Chaplains Aide to attend this course on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Three Harbors Council Milwaukee Scout Service Center, 330 South 84th Street, Milwaukee, from 8:30AM - 12:30PM.
At this training session we will be introducing a new resource of worship service written by Scouts with clergy guidance and to learn about the responsibilities of this critical position encouraging spiritual growth of troop members.
