
Wilderness First Aid: Emergency Care in Remote Locations - Scout BSA Edition
Through ECSI (Emergency Care and Safety Institute), Wilderness First Aid: Emergency Care in Remote Locations will be offered through our council. This or a similar course is required for any high adventure program.
This is a 16-hour course taught by fire department paramedics. In this course you will learn how to manage situations in the back country when help is not close by. There will be visual aids, lecture sessions and hands-on training.
This will be an in-person program. Four, 4-hour sessions, June 3rd 6pm-10pm, June 5th 8am-12pm, June 7th 6pm-10pm, and June 9th 6pm-10pm. All classes will be at the Somers Fire Station #1 training room, behind the station (7511 12th Street, Kenosha, WI).
This class will only be offered to THREE HARBORS COUNCIL ADULTS ONLY going on high adventures this year. Class limit this year is 10. Next year or in the fall, it will be open again and to larger groups.
You will also receive an AAOS Wilderness First Aid Field Guide Book, second edition.

Cost is $75 per person (ONLY OPEN FOR THREE HARBORS COUNCIL ADULTS AT THIS TIME).
