North Shore Fire Department 5th Annual Explorer Agility Challenge was an ultimate blast for the Fire Explorers to participate in. This was one amazing event to see young men and women give their all to complete each station. No Explorer gave up during the challenge. This was a true testament of never giving up and pushing your body to the limit! Fire Explorers were invited to compete with other Fire Explorer Posts within the Wisconsin area and put their Fire Explorer Skills to the test. Each Fire Explorer went go through 5 stations ranging from carrying a small hotel pack(about 25Ibs) up to a 3-floor tower, pulling a 2 ½ donut roll of hose up the side of a building, using a sledge hammer, pulling a 3-inch hose up to 150 feet and dragging a 180Ib mannequin to the finish line. North Shore, Grafton, Milwaukee, Oak Creek, Janesville, Hales Corners, Menasha and Cedarburg Fire Explorers all participated in the challenge.
