Needs (Unit Commissioners, Finance people)

Southshore has a great District volunteer staff and outstanding Cubmasters, Den leaders, Scoutmasters, and Committee Members. However, we need to fill some positions at our District level. Currently, we are in need of:

District Vice Chair
Activities Chair
Boy Scout Training Chair
Public Relations Chair
Retention Chair
Assistant District Commissioners
Unit Commissioners

If you are interested in getting involved and helping out packs and troops please contact me.  The more support that we offer to those providing the program, the better off we will all be.  These positions are paramount to the success of our District. Are you willing to take on a leadership role? Do you have skills that can benefit Southshore? We truly need your help and guidance so that Scouting’s next 100 years is as great as its first 100 years.

Many of the positions listed above do not have the time commitment that you may expect. However, all of the above positions directly influence how we proceed as a District. I know that there are leaders out there waiting for the opportunity to get involved in something bigger than themselves. Maybe that’s you, maybe that’s someone you know.
