Popcorn Sale
The 2012 fall and spring popcorn sale was AMAZING with a 37% increase over last year. Thanks to Chris Kratz (Product Sales Chair) and the many unit leaders that did such an awesome job. Many units realized their fundraising goals and were able to cover most, if not all of their unit costs for events and camping. Let’s keep up this momentum through the 2013 sales!
Popcorn is one of many fundraisers out there, but there are a couple of things to consider when looking at your yearly fundraising goals.
- It is the ONLY sale where Scouts can wear their uniforms
- It has the highest total return for the Boy Scouts of America
- It helps us fund our camps, programs, materials, and support resources
- It is selling Scouting and is what people expect
- It is safe and a lot of fun, with great prizes!
Let’s continue the trend of being the largest increasing district in popcorn sales!
