Friends of Scouting

The 2013 Friends of Scouting campaign has been going great.  Thank you to all that contributed to such a worthy cause through your generous gifts.  A big thank you to all of the presenters who participated in the campaign, through your leadership we are able to provide funding for our District and youth. 

If your Unit has not signed up for a presentation or still needs to schedule your presentation please contact Kurt Rusch at Kurt.Rusch@Scouting.org or 414-443-2858 ASAP!!!  Scouting needs funding to continue its mission, but a Friends of Scouting presentation is about much more than that, it’s about sharing the Scouting story with as many people as possible.  If you’re not sure when to schedule your presentation Blue and Gold’s/Green and Gold’s or large Pack/Troop meetings are the ideal place.  The presentation takes about 10 minutes.

Matching Gifts:  If you noted your contribution as having an employer match, please ensure that the paperwork has been filled out correctly per your employers needs.  We cannot do this for you we need you to talk to your employer.  Spread the word.

Friends of Scouting Presenters Needed
 

If you have presented for Friends of Scouting in the past or are interested in doing a couple of Unit presentations your help is greatly needed.  A Friends of Scouting presentation usually takes a few minutes and I would be happy to train you and supply materials to ensure your success.  Please let me know if you have interest in doing presentations as I would like to compile a list of people willing to help out.
