2013 Winter Klondike
This year the powers from above brought snow just in time for another exhilarating and freezing Polaris Winter Klondike at the iconic Camp Vista. A few Scouts had to come in and warm up their hands by the fire, but the cold did not stop over 100 Scouts from demonstrating their Scout skills on the challenging sled trail. After the fan favorites snow snake competition and sled race the Scouts watched a demonstration from the US medical company and their static display of a medical Humvee. There was also a continual demonstration of a dog sled racing around camp. At night the boys competed in challenging trivia to earn some valuable camping prizes. Below 0 weather, a Humvee, and Cracker Barrel! What else could you ask for?
