This Heart of Milwaukee fall event was a lot of fun and at the Mary Ryan Boys & Girls Club. We had a smaller group due to the constant threat of inclement weather that hung over us all morning, but it held off until right at the end.
The morning started sunny, but developed into an overcast day. Everything was well organized and run by our great team of volunteers - which was led by the irrepressible Lynn Seif. With a day full of fun activities, physical challenges and great camaraderie, it’s no wonder everyone stayed in spite of the impending storms and gathered in the commons area for more fellowship, fun, trophies and awards.
A special Thanks goes to the youth leaders who lead the Scouts and their friends and families in all the games and activities. Numerous awards were given to the Cub Scouts and fellow attendees who exhibited great skills, good sportsmanship and a positive attitude. Congratulations, AGAIN, to Pack 98 from Blessed Savior for taking home the top trophy for participation. It is always so nice to see so many families creating memories for a lifetime.
Finally, we would like to thank Mr. Marco Morrison, site director at Mary Ryan, and the Boys and Girls Club for their kindness and generosity in hosting this fun event.
