As a young man, he started his Boy Scout career in Palatine, Illinois. He attained the highest level of Scouting, the Eagle Scout award in Caddott, Wisconsin in 1978. | | He served as Council President of the Southeast Wisconsin Council, Boy Scouts of America in 2001 and 2002. Ken established the Southeast Wisconsin Council Annual Golf Classic in 2002. Ken was devoted to his family, cherished his friends, and was an avid Bears and Cubs fan.
