Camp Facilities Available for Unit Meetings
     •  Camp Fire Bowls – Available for pack meetings and troop Courts of Honor
     •  Camp Pavilions – Great space for den or troop meetings
     •  Activity fields and other outdoor areas including picnic tables

Unit Camping at Camp IMR and Camp Oh-Da-Ko-Ta
Weekend tent camping will be available this fall at Indian Mound Scout Reservation and Camp Oh-Da-Ko-Ta.  Units will be responsible for their own food and restroom cleaning.  The camp dining hall and cabins will not be available and total camp attendance will be limited.  Please review the safety procedures and camp check-in protocol listed below:

COVID-19 Safety Procedures at Camp IMR & Camp Oh-Da-Ko-Ta

  • All Scouts, leaders, parents and family members are required to complete a COVID-19 health assessment, COVID-19 waiver and verify temperatures before arriving at camp.
  • Face coverings are required to be worn at camp except for swimming and boating activities.  Social distancing practices are mandatory throughout camp.
  • Scouts and leaders camping overnight must sleep one person per tent.  Only immediate family members can share tents.
  • Units will be assigned a restroom and are asked to clean it on a regular basis during the camping session.
  • Units are encouraged to have meals for Scouts to prepare individually.  Meals should not be served buffet style.  If food is prepared for a patrol, designated cooks should wear masks and gloves.  A designated person wearing a mask and gloves should also serve the food to everyone.
  • All campers should bring their own water bottle for use at camp.
  • Group games and activities must incorporate social distancing.
  • Units should not interact with other units at camp.

New Camp Check-In Protocol

  • Each Scout, leader, parent or family member entering camp will be required to submit a COVID-19 health assessment form and COVID-19 waiver upon arrival.
  • Unit leaders are responsible for collecting all COVID-19 health assessments and waivers for each youth and adult attending camp including contact numbers.  These required forms should be submitted to the Camp Ranger upon checking in to camp.
  • Each vehicle arriving at camp is responsible for temperature checks for all occupants before leaving home.  The temperatures for each individual should be documented on the health assessment forms.

Camp Facilities

  • For safety reasons, sleeping cabins will not be available for rental until at least December 31, 2020.   All overnight camping will be in tents.
  • The camp dining halls will also be closed until further notice.

Restrooms

  • Camp restroom facilities will be open with enhanced cleaning protocols.
  • Each unit camping overnight will be assigned a restroom for cleaning.  Unit leaders will be responsible for cleaning their assigned restroom and high touch areas on a regular basis.

Camp Attendance Limits

  • To accommodate social distancing, group size will be limited to 50 campers this fall.  Camp Oh-Da-Ko-Ta can accommodate two separate groups of 50 campers.  At Indian Mound Scout Reservation, three separate groups of 50 campers are permitted if one of the groups is in Camp Lazynski.
  • All groups at camp must remain separated and not interact or share program or tenting areas.
